She began her career in the late 1980’s as a stylist in the New York Fashion Scene. At 22 years of age, Noel befriended the legendary fashion photographer, Bob Richardson who would forever nurture her seed in photography. As a creative producer and editor for Bob, Noel was mentored by an iconoclast. This revered teacher became her closest friend. For 12 years, Noel worked as a fashion stylist in New York, and Los Angeles, in the magazine and celebrity circuit for Details, The Face, Mirabella, Vibe, French Vogue, GQ, Newsweek Vanity Fair, Paper, George, Cosmopolitan and The New York Times. She styled sittings for such legendary photographers as Paulo Roversi, Scavullo, Albert Watson, and Phillip Dixon. Since developing an A list styling résumé, which celebrates clients ranging from Ed Harris to Scarlett Johanson, Sting to Dianna Ross….All her time behind the lens naturally began to groom her eye for photography. |
In 2001, Noel fled from the fashion scene into a world beyond, delving into the Middle East for a year, unearthing her passion for anthropological and landscape photography. For Noel, the Camera is the medium that allows her to communicate purely. Using her organic feminine style, Noel invites her subjects to be captured in their true essence. A passionate equestrian, Noel is working on a personal project of Arabia’s Horses. Noel lives on both coasts, with her two rescued, well traveled dogs. |
